Pira Laohacharoensombat

With a unique fusion of engineering expertise and an ardent passion for wines, Pira Laohacharoensombat leads WineLab, an innovative enterprise dedicated to the distribution of boutique wines across Thailand.

Pira's journey began with a Master's Degree in Petrochemical Engineering, but soon, the enchanting world of hospitality and fine wines beckoned. This new path led to the establishment of Reverie Siam, a testament to Pira's flair for luxury hospitality and the start of a profound love affair with the wine industry.

In 2018, Pira solidified his commitment to the wine world by earning the prestigious Certified Sommelier accreditation from the Court of Master Sommeliers. Demonstrating an exceptional understanding and appreciation of wines, Pira also clinched the title of 1st runner-up in the Bourgogne Competition in Thailand in the same year.

Continuing this path of oenological distinction, Pira pursued a specialized Master's Degree in Oenology in 2020, an international program conducted across three countries. This included the Vinification Program at UTAD in Vila Real, Portugal, the Viticulture Program at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Piacenza, Italy, and the Terroir Management Program at ESA University in Angers, France.

In 2024, Pira achieved a significant milestone in his wine career by obtaining the Diploma WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust), which is the highest level of WSET qualification. This accomplishment underscores Pira's profound knowledge and expertise in the field of wines and spirits.
